hPack Package (No Microscope)

I am impressed by Hiwassee's h-PACK Mobile Microscopy Kit. I had the opportunity to use this mobile microscopy kit to examine soil and plant microbes at a recent ACRES meeting. The microscope was highly portable and easy to use. The images that we projected onto a large screen were of a high quality and resolution. I recommend this microscope to anyone that needs affordable and mobile microscopy equipment.

The compact, modular nature of the H-Pack has made it easy to deploy in non-traditional settings - on-farm, in community workshops, and in mobile soil health demonstrations. This portability is critical for applied soil health work where laboratory access is limited or impractical.
From a workflow standpoint, the system integrates well into hands-on education and field diagnostics, helping bridge the gap between laboratory-grade visualization and real-world agricultural and ecological applications. The unit has supported our goal of expanding biological literacy around soils while maintaining a high standard of image quality and documentation.
