ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:

A versatile motorized extractor with a variety of configurations and mounting options to fit the needs and budgets of a wide range of mid-sized farms.

FEATURES

Our X250 Compost Extractor uses water jets to efficiently dislodge beneficial microorganisms from compost. Compost is loaded into the hopper, which is equipped with a water agitation system that breaks static friction along its edges, dislodging material and promoting an uninterrupted flow.

An auger transports the compost into the extraction chamber, where water jets placed strategically along the auger rinse the material. A booster pump ensures sufficient water pressure is applied to extract microbial communities without damaging them. A cylindrical sieve encases the auger and water jet system, and microbes are rinsed through the screen into the catch basin. The sieve is easily interchangeable, allowing for the use of different mesh screens to achieve various levels of filtration and sediment load.

By adjusting the auger speed, operators can fine-tune the concentration of the extract, since water flow rate is constant. This allows precise control over extract dilution and a consistent final product.

Key Features

  • Produces up to 500 gallons of extract per hour
  • Patent pending stepped auger design prevents overloading extraction chamber for dependable operation
  • Allows easy and precise control of extract concentration

  • Optional hopper extension holds 36 gallons of compost, allowing an hour of run time without reloading

I've been using the X250 Compost Extractor for a few months now on my farm, and it has completely transformed the way we make compost extract. The efficiency of the auger water jet system is impressive—it pulls out an incredible amount of beneficial microbes while keeping the process smooth and hassle-free. I love the ability to adjust the auger speed and filtration, allowing me to customize the extract depending on what my crops need.
Setup was straightforward, and once I got the hang of the adjustments, it became very easy to operate. The 500-gallon per hour capacity keeps up with our farm’s needs, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement in soil health and plant vigor since incorporating the extract into our routine.
If you’re serious about soil biology and want a reliable, high-capacity compost extractor, the X250 is a solid investment. Highly recommend!
